Wrong Shadow Hero

WHITE COURT WRONG SHADOW

Theft is temporary. Accounting is forever.

"Steal from the White Court, dodge patrols, and return before your shadow is filed."

Trotillions: White Court Wrong Shadow is a turn-based stealth puzzle where stealing is only half the contract.

Nyx enters the White Court to extract valuable assets for Schwartz, but every step moves the guards. Read patrols, wait for vision windows, take the prize, and get back out before the Court notices the wrong shadow.

Status: Currently in development at the functional testing stage.

"You are not paid for touching the treasure. You are paid for leaving with it."

"A stealth puzzle about stealing from people who can afford better guards."

"The White Court sees everything except the invoice."

The Job

Nyx is small, fast, and very bad for inventory accuracy.

The White Court is marble, gold, ceremony, and patrol schedules. Every move you make advances the guards. They walk, turn, watch corridors, and occasionally prove that expensive architecture is still useful when it blocks line of sight.

Nobody is impressed that you touched the treasure.

The job is simple on paper: enter, take the asset, return to the exit. Schwartz does not pay for heroic improvisation. He pays for clean logistics. A perfect contract means the shortest verified route, no wasted turns, no discovered shadows, and no explanation required afterward.

Current and predicted sightlines show where the Court is looking now and where it will look after your next action. Use them. Or do not, and become part of the archive for the wrong reason.

What is in it

  • Turn-based stealth contracts. Every move changes the patrol state, so timing matters as much as position.
  • Current and predicted vision. Red shows where guards see now. Gold shows where they will see after your next action.
  • Patrols, turns, and blocked sight. Guards follow routes, face their next step, and lose vision behind walls, columns, and screens.
  • Steal and return. Taking the asset is not victory. Getting back to the exit with it is.
  • Perfect Theft ranks. Each contract has a verified shortest solution. Schwartz notices waste.
  • Undo and restart. Failure is reversible. Embarrassment is more persistent.
  • Multiple chapters of contracts. Tutorials teach the rules; later assignments expect you to count.
  • Features: Archive, settings, RU/EN localization, music, sound, mouse and keyboard controls.
  • Stylized 3D White Court. Marble halls, ceremonial guards, strange assets, and enough gold to make bad decisions look official.

The World

This takes place in Trotillions, after the White Heat virus, where civilization survived mostly by becoming stranger, meaner, and better documented.

Schwartz moves goods, favours, people, and blame. The White Court collects luxury, ceremony, and the comforting belief that ownership is permanent. Nyx disagrees. Usually quietly.
